Enhanced Volume Restore (iOS Only)

Playing at Low / No Volume - An “Enhanced Volume Restore” option was added to version 15.7 which addresses an issue with volume levels when using Apple Music with Fade-Out on iOS….and when using certain Bluetooth speakers (specifically the JBL PartyBox line). If you are experiencing issues with the volume going down very low on some players, please open your team and choose Actions > Advanced > Enhanced Volume Restore:OFF…..to turn that option on (if you go back to check that setting, it should show “Enhanced Volume Restore:ON”. To turn it OFF, you would simply select it again.)

More Details - In order to fade-out Apple Music, BallparkDJ must adjust the volume of the device, slowly, down to zero….then pause the playback…..then restore the volume of the device to original level. However, certain speakers, including the JBL PartyBox, do not respond to this restoration of the volume of the device when it is not being done during playback. So to work around this, the Enhanced Volume Restore option must play a very brief (and inaudible) part of an Apple Music song while restoring the volume.
