Can you explain the difference between a Player Component and a Team Component in SuperVoice?
SuperVoice gives users the ability to combine up to four voice components into one, with customized overlap between each component. Each component may be either a Team Component or a Player Component.
Player Component - A Player Component will play the voice of a single player. When you tap Add Player, you then navigate to and choose the Player whose voice you would like to insert as a component in your SuperVoice.
Team Component - A Team Component will dynamically present all players from that team at run-time and allow the user to choose which player’s voice on that team will be inserted as that component. The Add Team will present the list of teams from which to choose the Team Component.
Below you can see a two component example with Team Component (SuperVoice Baseball) first and Player Component (Robbie Reeves) last. When tapping on Robbie to play his audio, the Team Component is presented and the user chooses which player (in this case a Baseball Event) is to be played prior to #6 Robbie Reeves. Tap on Leading off and get “Leading Off… #6 Robbie Reeves”.
A user may choose to further enhance the SuperVoice intro by adding a Special Effects component to lead off the intro as seen below. If the user wanted the same special effect for that player every time, they would add that Special Effect as a Player Component (static). If that user wanted to be able to choose which special effect is used each time, they would add the Special Effects team as a Team Component (dynamic).
Again, anywhere from 2 to 4 components may be added to SuperVoice and each component may be a Team or Player Component. All 4 can be Team Components (resulting in 4 prompts for which player will be used from each team) or 4 Player Components may be chosen (resulting in no prompting) or any mix of the two component types.
Now that you are an expert on Team Component vs Player Component, you are ready to..
Insert the Team Name “Now Batting … For The Cambridge Bears … Johnny Morris”
