Casey passed away in his sleep on June 30, 2022. In an effort to honor Casey, support his family, and bring that beloved booming voice back, BallparkDJ has made a significant investment in technology to provide Casey Motter LEGACY.
The satisfaction rate with LEGACY orders has been very high, but here are some important tips and info that will ensure maximum success with your LEGACY order. And keep in mind that if you are not satisfied with your Legacy order, for any reason, you may simply order another announcer and we will refund the Legacy purchase.
Repeat Order If Needed - First, if reading any of the info below results in you needing to edit your players or team in any way before completing the order page, you can edit as needed and initiate the order again from BallparkDJ
Players Names - Please ensure you have typed in your players names exactly how you want them voiced. If you want Allen voiced as AJ, then please type AJ into the first name field. And please ensure you have spelled the names properly without any added characters or emojis. You might even use a more common spelling of any name if there is one.
Avoid Nicknames / Coaching Intros - Please avoid including nicknames or ordering coaching intros when ordering LEGACY. If you would like nicknames and coaching intros voiced, please consider choosing another announcer.
Team Names / Team Intro - If team names are part of your order….which is the case for SuperVoice or Pre-Game intros, or “Now Batting for the Braves” type intro orders…if your team name is long, such as “South Macon Braves 9u”, you may find that the team name is voiced in a shortened format, such as “Now Batting for the Braves”. (and we have learned this is preferred by most users anyway). And if team name is a part of your intros, we recommend you name your team exactly how you’d like it voiced (although not required). LEGACY Redo / Refund - Please visit this page to learn more about your options if your LEGACY voicing comes back to you and you need redos/changes.
No Customized Reads - LEGACY cannot deliver customized reads such as Sponsorship Recognition and Sportsmanship Statements. If you have such needs, please choose another announcer for that request.
