Voice/ Music Toggles
Voice and Music toggles are in the Edit Player screen, and you'll see those to the right of the Edit buttons next to Voice and Music. These allow you to toggle Voice or Music off after you have Voice or Music set up while retaining the underlying audio and associated settings. Some reasons why you would need to toggle Music or Voice off. Maybe your team is entered into a tournament or an event that simply does not allow voice intros or they don't allow music for whatever reason. Or maybe the coach decides for a specific game or for a tournament or a weekend that he only wants Voice or he only wants Music for whatever reason.
So these toggles allow you to turn either of these off while retaining the underlying audio in any associated settings. The settings, especially with Music where there's Start and Length and Fade In and Music Ending Sound Effects and so forth. And you'll notice when you toggle off Voice that your Overlap controls disappear because you no longer have two components to overlap. The Relative Volume does stay down there because some songs simply play louder than others. And this allows you to soften some of the songs relative to the other louder songs. If you toggle off Music, then both the Overlap and the Relative Volume controls disappear. If you visit the Actions > Team Settings window, you'll find a very convenient Turn Music Audio OFF checkbox, and when you turn that on, it will turn the Music off for all players. So that's an easy way to turn the Music off for all players at once. And then when you want to turn it back on, just revisit this window and turn that toggle back off. And then the Music will be turned on for all players. You can turn this option on and therefore turn the Music off for all players and then go in and turn on Music individually for some players if you wish. But this is primarily here to allow you to turn off Music for an event, for a for a game, or for a weekend or for a tournament, and then turn it right back on for all players with 1 checkbox.
Before these Voice and Music toggles were added, you had to go into the Edit Voice or Edit Music screens and find the option to turn off the Voice or Music there. And when you did so, you lost the underlying Voice or Music and all the associated settings. So it was very important for us to add this, to give you a way to turn this off and still retain all the underlying audio and settings.
And one other situation where you might want to turn off Voice temporarily, let's say one of your players was mispronounced and you had to Request a Redo. And during that redo process, the Professional Voicing was replaced with your voice and you don't get the Professional Voicing Redo back in time for your next game, and you don't want to use your own voice. So in that case, you can just turn off the Voice and just play Music for that player for that game.
