Sponsorship Recognition
Can I order announcements that recognizes our team sponsors?
Absolutely. And sponsorship recognition delivered by our professional major league voices can be a powerful selling point when recruiting team sponsors. You’ll find samples below that will assist you with selling BallparkDJ as a component to what is offered for sponsors.
( Please choose an announcer other than Casey Legacy when ordering sponsorship reads. )
And you can customize the introduction of those sponsors. For instance…
The Cambridge Bears would like to recognize the following sponsors for their generous support of the Cambridge Baseball Program…
…followed by individual recognition of each sponsor. You may adjust the order in which the sponsors are recognized as often as you wish throughout the season. You may add or remove sponsors as needed. You may re-use the sponsor announcements in future seasons (adding or removing a few sponsors as needed). Play it once per game, or multiple times per game. Play for varsity team, JV team, and Freshman team (just share with other teams).
If you’d like to import a sample sponsor team which you can demonstrate to a prospective sponsor, open this page on your device which has BallparkDJ installed and click here.
It’s easy to setup in BallparkDJ. Here’s how…
Create a new team for your sponsors. Give it the same title as your team name, with a subtitle of “Sponsors”.
Call the first player “Intro”.
For each sponsor, use the name of the sponsor as the name of the player (leave the number blank).
Choose Actions > Order Professional Voicing > All Players.
You’ll be asked to voice each player for proper pronunciation. For the Intro, say exactly what you would like the announcer to say such as “The Cambridge Bears would like to recognize the following sponsors for their generous support of the Cambridge Baseball Program…”. The announcer will hear this before he records it and reflect it in his voicing.
When completing the order on the web page, choose the desired announcer. Do NOT choose SuperVoice (not needed). For the format, choose the 3rd format option which will say “Number, Sponsor #1” where Sponsor #1 will be your first sponsor.
You’ll should get your sponsor announcements back within 24 hours. At that point, you can edit the order of sponsors, add sponsors as needed (and order with Actions > Order Pro Voice > Some Players).
You may also play a single song through the whole sponsorship ready by adding music to the Intro player, setting that song to “Play Full Song”.
You’ll want to set the team to Continous Play at the bottom right (click on “Single Play” and it toggles to “Cont Play”). This will automatically play the intro and then all sponsors by just clicking on the Intro.
And if you want to take it to another level and involve SuperVoice, the following process gives each sponsor their own half inning. So at the end of each half inning, one tap of a BallparkDJ button delivers…
Sponsoring the Top of the 4th for the Cambridge Bears, Cactus Car Wash [with Custom Music chosen by sponsor]
So each sponsor not only gets their company recognized with a professional voice each game, but they sponsor their own half inning and they get to choose their own song to play before that half inning! All great selling points when recruiting new sponsors.
Here is how to accomplish this…
Complete the process above to order the standard team of sponsorship recognition.
Create another team, title it “Half Innings”, and add these players “Top of the 1st”, “Bottom of the 1st”, Top of the 2nd”, “Bottom of the 2nd”, “Top of the 3rd”, etc (if you have 10 sponsors you’ll need to do this for top and bottom of innings 1-5). Also add players for “Sponsoring The” and “for the Team Name” (insert your team name like “for the Cambridge Bears”).
Once voicing of both teams are completed. Create another team and give it a name like “Sponsor Half Innings”. Use SuperVoice to combine players ….for example add a player named “Cactus Carwash”, and add SuperVoice components “Sponsoring The”, [Half Inning Team], “For The Cambridge Bears”, “Cactus Carwash”. So 3 player components and 1 team component. (All About Team and Player Components)
Blend in the song that the sponsor chose (if applicable).
When tapping on each sponsor, it will prompt for which half inning they are sponsoring. Tap on the appropriate half inning and then you’ll hear “Sponsoring The Top of the 4th For the Cambridge Bears, Cactus Carwash” followed by the song that plays until the pitcher toes the rubber to start the top of the 4th.
